Lucifer remake is one of the upcoming projects in the Telugu film industry. The untitled movie will have Sujeeth as a director. Even after scoring a debacle Saaho, Megastar Chiranjeevi trusts his talent and handled the responsibility of the movie. The script work is already in progress and the makers are currently working on the script work. Very soon, the final narration of the script will be given to Chiranjeevi. Meanwhile, an interesting development confirms that the makers approached actor Rahman for the villain role in the film.

Actor Rahman is popular for his works in South cinema. Although he did a few movies in Telugu, he is quite famous. D16, Antariksham, and a few more are the movies he did in Telugu. Now, he is in talks to play the role that Vivek Oberoi played in the original. Mohanlal played the lead role in the film which Chiranjeevi will reprise. Suhasini is in talks for the role that Manju Warrier originally played.

As of now, there is no official confirmation on Rahman's inclusion in the project but a report published on the Sify website reveals the same. Most likely, the film unit will make an official announcement about the cast and crew, once the film is ready to hit the floors.
