Anurag Kashyap launches a new production house called Good Bad Films; Choked will be the first release of this banner

Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has launched a new production house. Titled Good Bad Films, this banner is co-owned by Dhruv Jagasia and Akshay Thakkar. The first release of this production house will be Anurag's new directorial Choked. This film will be out on Netflix on June 5.

Anurag Kashyap announced the launch of this production house through an Instagram post. He wrote, "So here it is .. our new company @goodbadfilmsofficial . Introducing the good, the bad and the films of the @goodbadfilmsofficial on the Monday of the release of our first production #chokedpaisaboltahai on @netflix_in . @jagasiadhruv in black and white and @akshaythakker . My two pillars of support. Only thing I can’t figure is that which one of my two producers is good and who is bad .. so leaving it to you all to decide .. let’s have fun #chokedpaisaboltahai releasing June 5th." Choked stars Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles. It showcases the story of a bank employee who finds money flowing out of her kitchen sink one day. How that instance changes her life forms the main crux of this film. Saiyami pinned a lot of hopes on this movie. She claims it as her best work to date. Speaking in an interview, the Mirzya actress said that she plays the role of a middle-class woman in this film, who is the sole breadwinner of her family. She added that her role will be relatable to every middle-class woman.
