Anushka Sharma releases the trailer of her maiden production, Paatal Lok; Trailer looks intense and terrific

Paatal Lok' A new original series by Amazon and is produced by Anushka Sharma is in the news lately. They made an interesting announcement regarding the sneak peek and trailer release. They've mentioned oddly-specific times — as were we when the Paatal Lok trailer release time was announced last week. “A down and out cop lands the case of a lifetime when four suspects are nabbed in the assassination attempt of a prime-time journalist. The case turns out to be a devious maze where nothing is what it looks like. The pursuit of it leads him to the dark netherworld – the ‘Paatal Lok’, and to shocking discoveries in the past of the four suspects.” revealed the team about the series. The trailer premiered today, giving us a sneak into the brutal and dark world of Paatal Lok.

Creator Sudip Sharma said “Paatal Lok is every creator’s dream. This is an Indian story at heart but with great global appeal thanks to the themes it portrays and the characters it presents. I am positive Paatal Lok will keep viewers from around the world at the edge of their seats till the very end." It cast Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Swastika Mukherjee in the lead roles. Sudip Sharma, writer of Hindi blockbuster & cult film 'Udtha Punjab', served as an executive producer alongside Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma, who produce through their banner Clean Slate Films.
