Pawan Kalyan is set to make a comeback after a two-year hiatus with the film Vakeel Saab. Vakeel Saab is the remake of the hit Bollywood film Pink. In addition to Vakeel Saab, he will also appear in director Krish Jagarlamudi's next film tentatively titled Virupaksha. The latest buzz on the film is that the Anushka Shetty might be starring alongside Pawan Kalyan. The film had kick-started shooting in February. However, with the coronavirus outbreak, the film shoot now stands halted.
Not too long ago, rumors about Anushka Shetty playing the female lead were making rounds. Now sources say that the actress was approached to star in a guest role.
The director has already made the offer of proposing a cameo appearance. However, it is unclear as to whether Anushka has accepted or rejected the proposal. We will have to wait a little longer to get a confirmation from the Baahubali actress.
Meanwhile, fans are early awaiting Pawan Kalyan's comeback. The Pink remake titled Vakeel Saab is one of the most awaited films of the year. Pawan Kalyan will be taking on Amitabh Bachchan's role from the original. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj. Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju are bankrolling the film. Venu Sriram will be directing the film. S. Thaman is composing the film's score. The film might hit theatres in May if the Coronavirus outbreak subsides.
Anushka Shetty will appear in the upcoming film called Nishabdham alongside actor R Madhavan. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, the suspense-thriller also features Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala in important roles.
