Natural Star Nani's new project got announced a couple of days back on the occasion of his birthday. Titled as Shyam Singha Roy, this film is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan of Taxiwaala fame. According to the sources, the makers of this film are planning to rope in top music director AR Rahman as the composer of this film.
It seems that Shyam Singha Roy is a period film that is being made on a big budget. The team felt that a star composer would do justice for this period flick and started discussions with Rahman. Currently, the talks are on between the makers and Rahman. An official announcement will get made once the music director signs the dotted lines.
Rahman has done only a few Telugu films in his three-decade-old career. His musical works in Telugu include Super Police, Nani, Komarum Puli, Ye Maya Chesave and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. It has been a long time since he has done a straight Telugu film and thus, his fans are hoping that their wish will come true with this movie.
Shyam Singha Roy will hit the screens in December this year. Coming to Nani, the Eega actor is now prepping up for the release of his next film V. He is also acting in another project called Tuck Jagdish.
