AR Rahman opens up after the Pune police interrupted his show midway. As the show continued past the permitted time of 10 p.m., it was halted. On Monday, AR Rahman posted a video of himself performing on stage with other musicians and singers on Twitter. Along with AR Rahman performing, a police officer was also shown in the footage on stage.
In the video, it was written, "Thank you Pune for all the love and euphoria." In addition, AR Rahman added, "By the way we had a rockstar moment too ;)."In the video, a police officer entered the stage, pointed to Rahman, and ordered his group to end the performance. Sadda Haq from Rockstar by AR Rahman played in the background when this was happening.
In the final moments of the clip, AR Rahman grinned and said, "Okay. I think we overpoured love and we are overboard the time. That's it, we are done. Timing is over. I like this. Thank you city of Pune, the organizers, and the amazing band." The final line of the video reads, "We hope to see you soon."
AR Rahman posted the video and stated,
