Arjun Kapoor reacts on Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar getting an OTT release

The coronavirus pandemic has affected all the film industries across the world. Most of the films which were ready for the release are now lying under the cans for more than two months. One such film is Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, this film features Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. It was actually supposed to hit the screens on the 20th of March, but it got postponed due to the pandemic. Now, we are hearing that the film will directly release on an OTT platform. When asked about the same, hero Arjun Kapoor said that he is okay with it and it is a decision which will get taken by the producers, not him.

Speaking in a recent interview, Arjun said that he is not involved in the selling and buying of any of his films. He stated that his producers will look after those things. Arjun affirmed that he has no issues in releasing the film directly on an OTT platform. The Ishaqzaade actor stated that as artists, we have to look after the purity and not the medium. He feels getting it released is more important and not the platform. Currently, the talks are going on between the makers of the film are in talks with a leading OTT platform. A decision will get made very soon. Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar is being distributed by Yash Raj Films. This film was in the making from the last four years. Hopefully, it gets released very soon.
