Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna, is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies. Arjun Kapoor is reportedly in talks with director Sukumar to play a cop in this planned sequel, according to recent reports. Producer Naveen Yerneni refuted the rumours in an interview recently. Initially, we will be shooting in Hyderabad and then we will go to the forest and other locations”, he added. There had already been rumours that Sai Pallavi will also appear in Pushpa 2. Producer Y Ravi Shankar, however, refuted the reports. In the meantime, the latter reports that Allu Arjun's look test was just finished in Hyderabad yesterday.
Rashmika Mandanna also discussed Pushpa 2 while promoting her most recent film Goodbye, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. “It is going to start once Goodbye releases, very soon. It is going to be better this time. Better and bigger," the actress said.
