Arjun Kumar and Likith Shetty reunite to make Family Pack

The director-actor duo of Arjun Kumar and Likith Shetty will be returning to work a film titled Family Pack. The success of their first collaboration Sankashta Kara Ganapathi has led to work on a second film.

 
Actor Puneeth Rajkumar's production house PRK Productions will be producing the film. The film will star actress Amrutha Iyengar. In addition to the lead actors, the film will also star Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, Dattanna, Tilak and Nagabhushan. Masti will be writing the dialogues for the film. Musician Guru Kiran will be composing the film's score.
 
The shooting for the film was to be in April. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the film shoot now stands halted.
 
According to the director Arjun Kumar the film "will be an out-and-out comedy entertainer."
 
"In Indian culture, whether it is love or marriage, it is not just between the boy and the girl, and it requires two families to come together. This is one part of my story. In parallel, the plot will explore the romantic angle of the hero and heroine, and how they meet,” says director Arjun. The director approached the actor Likith Shetty for the film and the actor expressed his enthusiasm for the film. The director stated that he approached Likith as they have worked together before. He said, “Since our first film, Sankashta Kara Ganapathi, worked well for us, we decided to go with a similar pattern of making a romantic comedy."
 
Initially, the film was to be a bi-lingual film, made in Kannada and Hindi. However, PRP Productions dropped will produce the Kannada Film. The idea of a Hindi version has been dropped. Talking about PRP Productions, the director added, "We are happy that the film is being made under a well-known banner."
