Arulnithi’s Investigation Thriller Diary Certified With U/A

On August 26, 2022, the movie "Diary," starring actor Arulnithi and directed by debutant filmmaker Innasi Pandiyan will be released. Arulnithi plays a cop in the investigation thriller, which also stars Pavithra, a Singaporean doctor, as the female lead. The movie has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and is likely to be released soon in this month.

The film was filmed in Chennai, Coimbatore, Coonoor, and Ooty and it is based on a few real-life situations. The recently released two-and-a-half-minute trailer revealed that the movie is about incidents that occur near Mettupalayam's 13th hairpin turn. It promises to be a suspenseful crime thriller, and Shah Ra, Aadukalam Kishore, and Jayaprakash all have significant roles in the movie. Arulnithi reportedly shed 20 kilograms to fit the character of the movie. Innasi has worked with director Ajay Gnanamuthu before; both men made their film debuts with movies starring Arulnithi (Demonte Colony). Ron Ethan Yohann (Maya, Game Over) provided the music for the movie, although Aravind Singh and Raja Sethupathy handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
