Arun Vijay files a complaint against fake casting call

Arun Vijay is one of the most approachable stars in the Tamil film industry. He was last seen on screen in director Karthick Naren's Mafia: Chapter 1. The film, which released in theatres and received decent reviews from the critics and audience. Recently, he signed a film with Kuttram 23 director Arivazhagan. Arun Vijay, who is extremely active on social media came across a post regarding casting call for his upcoming film. He called it fake and filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime department.

 
Taking to Twitter, Arun Vijay shared the photos of the casting call announcements with fake being written on it. He wrote, "FAKE ALERT! AVOID!! There has been a FAKE Casting Call doing rounds in social media using my name, targeting women. Its a trap! An official complaint has been lodged with the Cyber Crime Dept to take action against these frauds. Pls, check for legitimacy in the future. Be safe." Arun Vijay now has director Naveen's Agni Siragugal, Ritika Singh's Boxer and Sinam. He is also expected to play the lead role in Mafia: Chapter 2.
