The production of the movie "Vanangaan," directed by Bala started earlier this year. It was one of actor Suriya's most eagerly anticipated movies. But, director Bala recently made it clear that Suriya has chosen not to take part in the movie. Because of the few changes to the plot, Suriya won't be apt for the character as per Bala. He also added that he will keep working on "Vanangaan."
Now the latest update is on the replacement of the actor. The newest rumours suggest that actor Arun Vijay will take over the part. The movie is expected to begin production in February 2023. Suriya's production company has also pulled out of it. So, Bala will produce the movie under his own label. Bala and Arun Vijay will be working together for the first time. Arun Vijay was most recently seen in "Yaanai" and "Sinam."
There were rumours that actor Atharvaa was also being considered for the part. Now it appears that Arun Vijay has given the go-ahead for the opportunity. The filming will start in February. The male lead was rumoured to play a deaf and hard of hearing character in the movie. On the first day of the New Year, an official update on "Vanangaan" is anticipated.
Bala said on the press meet that he and Suriya will work together on another project. Fans eagerly anticipated the return of Suriya and Bala's magic with "Vanangaan''. They have previously worked together on cult classic movies like "Nandha" and "Pithamagan."
Suriya is now filming his 42nd movie, a massively expensive drama directed by Siruthai Siva that will be released in 10 different languages.
