Asuran actress Ammu Abhirami tests Covid-19 positive

Actress Ammu Abhirami, who was last seen in director Vetri Maaran's Asuran, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Asuran actress Ammu Abhirami tests Covid-19 positive

Ammu Abhirami has done quite a handful of films as a supporting actress. Today, she is considered a powerhouse performer who is capable of pulling off any complex role with ease. She was last seen playing Dhanush's pair in the flashback portions of director Vetri Maaran's National Award-winning film, Asuran. She has now tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Due to mild symptoms, she is currently under home quarantine based on her doctor's advice. She also urged everyone to take care of themselves and their family members.

 
Ammu Abhiram took to Twitter and wrote, "After fever symptoms, I have tested positive for covid19, With the Doctor's advice, I have Isolated myself at home and taking required medicines and care. Will be back stronger than ever. please stay safe and take lots of care (sic)." Ammy has worked in many notable films such as Ratsasan, Bairavaa, Thambi, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Thanaa Serndha Koottam. She is now waiting for the release of Navarasad, which is an anthology produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. Ammu Abhiram is said to playing a lead role in one of the episodes in the anthology.
