Asuran remake titled Naarappa in Telugu?

Daggubati Venkatesh is popular as a successful hero with the maximum success ratio in terms of attempting remakes. Victory Venkatesh is the only Telugu hero who came up with a lot of remakes and in many of those, he came across success. Yet again, Venkatesh is now coming up with another crazy project as a remake. The recent Tamil blockbuster Asuran starring Dhanush and Manju Warrier come to Telugu. Venkatesh reprises the role played by Dhanush in the original and Priyamani plays the role that Manju played in the Tamil version. Srikanth Addala, the class director is the director for the remake.

The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress. Already, there are a lot of reports and rumours doing rounds around the project. The latest rumour is that the film's title is Naarappa. Venkatesh's character gets the same name and the makers recently registered the title at the film chamber too. Also, the rumours reveal that the film unit picked Ananthapur as the backdrop for this movie. Suresh Productions and V Creations jointly bankrolls the movie. Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu are the producers. S Thanu produced the Tamil version under Vetrimaran's direction.
