Atharvaa is going through a rough phase in his career as his last couple of films have been duds at the box office. He also recently made his debut in Telugu in Varun Tej’s Gaddalakonda Ganesh, which is a Telugu remake of Tamil superhit film Jigarthanda.
Now, the actor has landed in trouble when producer Mathiazhagan of Etcetera Entertainment filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Police in Chennai. Reportedly, the producer bought Atharvaa’s Semma Botha Aagadhey for a price of Rs 5.5 crore from him.
When the film turned out to be an utter flop venture, Atharvaa gave his word of doing another film for his banner to compensate the losses. He also roped in Maragadha Nanayam director ARK Saravanan to do a film titled Minnal Veeran with Atharvaa.
Mathiazhagan complained that Atharvaa didn’t co-operate for the shooting and requested him to repay the sum of Rs 6 crore. Since Atharvaa didn’t make any attempts to reach an amicable solution, Mathiazhagan has filed a complaint against him.
