Avengers: Endgame claims top spot for day-one ticket sales
Announced as the final Avengers showdown, Marvel's next blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame is setting the box office on fire with the all-time record collections of its preview sales and pre-sale tickets. The box office analysts have stated that the movie took only six hours on Tuesday to crush a record for tickets sold within 24 hours for the first time ever in the 19-year history of Marvel Studious.
AMC, an American pay television channel has revealed that this Avengers movie has beaten the records set up Star Wars: The Last Jedi released in 2017. Another ticket-selling website Fandango stated that the first-hour ticket sale is triple to that of its previous part Avengers: Infinity War.
Erik Davis, Fandango managing editor took to Twitter to share this accompaniment. “THIS JUST IN: Not only did #AvengersEndgame become the biggest pre-sale title ever in the first 24 hours, but it accomplished this feat in only six hours. A groundbreaking and historic accomplishment” read his tweet.
Avengers: Infinity War has set records with $257M+ last year and the next part is going to hit the screens on April 26th in five Indian languages.
