Ever since the government imposed the 21-day lockdown in the country many have found unique ways to pass their time at home. However, not everyone has grasped the intensity of the situation and are still outside on the streets. Now, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has taken to his social media to call out those who have not been following health protocols. He has urged his fans and followers to practice self-isolation and social distancing.
He said, "It is quite disturbing to see videos and reports about people still not fully complying with the all India lockdown! The cases of coronavirus are on the rise in India and as conscious citizens of the nation we should be extremely responsible and should take care of each other to fight Covid-19."
Khurrana also said that this is a difficult time and we must all act responsibly. He added saying, “ Because such actions will put the lives of many in danger. It is my earnest request to all my fellow Indians to please stay at home until the lockdown and take care of themselves and their loved ones.”
“ We shouldn’t be rash in our behavior because it will put our lives and the lives of countless many in peril. I urge us to stand united and ensure we protect India and Indians," the actor concluded.
Khurrana last appeared on the big screen with his film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The film portrays Khurrana as a gay man in love. The film received praise from fans and critics for raising awareness. Khurrana will next appear in Gulabo Sitabo alongside Amitabh Bachchan
