We already know that Malayalam film 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' is going to get remade in Telugu with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. Sithara Entertainments' banner is bankrolling this project. The official announcement regarding the movie will get released in August this year. As per the latest reports, Sudheer Varma is now on board to helm this project. The buzz also states that the makers are in talks with Harish Shankar too.
Director Sudheer Varma who previously worked with the production house for Sharwanand's 'Ranarangam' movie is going to do another movie with the same producer. Though the movie ended up as a disaster at the box office, the producer is quite confident that Sudheer Varma can handle the emotional entertainer like this very well.
Harish Shankar is an expert in dealing the remakes. The producers want to work with him for a long time now. Harish is yet to take a final call on the same as he has Pawan kalyan's film in the pipeline.
A team of writers is currently busy finalizing the script by making some changes to match the Telugu nativity. The regular shoot of the movie will go on a roll next year.
