Baarish 2: Asha Negi opens up about her kissing scenes with Sharman Joshi, says 'I was very awkward and shy'

Ekta Kapoor's web series Baarish created quite a buzz for its romantic storyline. The show that stars Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi in the lead roles are all set for its second season. Recently, the makers dropped the trailer of the season and the audience is already on the edge of their seats. The upcoming season will see the relationship between Asha and Sharman grow a level-up as they get closer. This goes without saying that there will be some intimate scenes between the actors too.

The trailer of the show saw a kissing scene between Asha and Sharman. Opening up to a leading daily, Asha revealed how she felt when she was shooting for the scene. “There are a few lip-lock scenes, but the makers made sure that the scenes don’t turn out to be steamy or raunchy. They assured that the innocence and simplicity of the couple and the story is intact. We’ve kept the scenes sweet”. Adding to it, Asha revealed her experience of kissing on-screen for the first toe. She said, “It was my first on-screen kiss, I was quite shy and awkward before rolling. I remember my director and Sharman were all comforting me as it was my first ever lip-lock on screen". When asked about the first time she learned about the kiss, she said, “When I was first told about the scene,I agreed because I don’t want to limit myself to particular roles and restrict myself as an actress”. The second season of the show will start streaming from May 8 on Alt Balaji and Zee5 app.
