Talented actor Irrfan Khan stayed away from the camera from the last couple of years due to an undisclosed illness. The Maqbool actor underwent treatment in the UK for about a year and he came back to India only a few months back. After landing back home, Irrfan immediately started working on his new film, Angrezi Medium, directed by Homi Adajania. The shoot of this film has got wrapped up recently and the makers have kickstarted promotions this morning by releasing a heartwarming message from Irrfan Khan.
In the video, Irrfan said that Angrezi Medium is a very close film to hit the heart. He also wanted to promote it the way they made it. But unfortunately, his health conditions are not permitting him to do so. Thus, it seems like Irrfan will not be a part of this film's promotions.
The trailer of Angrezi Medium will be out tomorrow. Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor played the other lead roles in it. Angrezi Medium is a sequel to the 2017 super-hit film Hindi Medium. It will release worldwide on March 20.
