BARC issues a clarification on the false data that states Thalapathy Vijay got maximum impressions on TV during the lockdown

Thalapathy Vijay is one of the star heroes in South film industry. The star hero's fans recently shared a report about the Indian stars impressing the audiences on TV. In the list, Vijay tops the list, while Rajinikanth stood in third place and Prabhas settled to fifth position. A lot of people shared the news as soon as it got published on Twitter. The fans shared the same, informing that BARC issued the information. But, it is found to be a false information and BARC issued a clarity on the same.
 
According to the false speculation, actor Vijay received 117.9 Million impressions, Raghava Lawrence received 76.2 Million impressions, Rajinikanth received 65.8 Million impressions. Akshay Kumar got 58.8 Million impressions while Prabhas ended with 56.9 Million impressions. Vijay fans created a trend saying Vijay is TRP king.
 
BARC has given a statement regarding the same. On their Twitter profile, they have issued a clarification on the rumours. "It has come to our attention that people are posting false data using BARC India's logo. This is a serious breach and an offence. Please refer to data only published by BARC India and republished or shared by others using the official data." read a tweet from BARC.
