Barrister Babu will not see Kanika Mann playing the role of Bondita in the show

The popular Colors TV show, Barrister Babu, which was in news for its time lapse sequence in the show, will not have Kanika Mann on board. It was earlier reported that the makers of Barrister Babu are planning to witness a generation leap, and for that they are going to replace the present actress Aurra Bhatnagar with Kanika Mann. The news fetched criticism from the audience as they demanded no time leap in the show and wanted Aurra to continue playing the role of Bondita.

However, now Kanika Mann has refused to join the show. It seems the actress already has a tight schedule and doesn't have dates available to give to the show. "Kanika was approached for the show along with many other actresses. But she couldn't take up the show as she has already signed another project on OTT space," a source was quoted as saying. Kanika Mann is popular for playing the role of Guddan in the Hindi television show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. Barrister Babu is the story of a child bride married to a barrister named Anirudh Roy Chaudhary, played by Pravisht Mishra. The show has been produced under Shashi Sumeet Production banner.
