Among various news surrounding the successful franchise, rumors suggested that Ben Stiller will be joining the cast of the latest installment. This left the fans of Ben stiller excited who welcomed their favorite star's entry into the Fast and Furious 9 cast.
However now Ben Stiller himself has debunked all of these rumors. The actor took to Twitter to explain the entire situation. He revealed that he is not at all involved with the Fast and Furious 9 film. The actor also wished the Fast and Furious 9 a great success.
Ben Stiller who has appeared in films like The Zoolander wrote, "Reports of my Fast and Furiosness are greatly exaggerated. Meaning not at all true, sadly. Though I wish them well with the franchise. Fingers crossed it takes off. #FastAndFurious #PageSixIsAmazing."
Now, this is sure to disappoint many of the actor's fans. However, the rumors were objectively quite baseless. As Fast and Furious 9 finished shooting for the film in 2019 itself.
The 9th film in the Fast and Furious franchise is set to drop across theatres in India on 22 May 2020. The official cast of the film includes big names like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson along with others.
22 May will also see the release of major Bollywood films like the
Salman Khan starring Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai and
Akshay Kumar's Laxxmi Bomb. This is mainly because 22 May is the Eidd holiday weekend.
