Rapper MC Stan held a news conference after taking home the Bigg Boss 16 championship trophy on Sunday. When host Salman Khan announced his name as the winner, he admitted that he initially found it hard to believe. The rapper was recently spotted reuniting with his "Mandali" member Shiv Thakare in a video that has surfaced online. Shiv congratulated him and hugged him tightly while he was rapping.
To win the title, Stan defeated top contenders Shalin Bhanot, Shiv Thakare, Archana Gauatam, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. MC Stan received the winner's trophy, a cash award of Rs. 31.80 lakhs, as well as the trophy and a car. Now, MC Stan can be seen rapping at the press conference in a video that has appeared online. His fellow finalist and fellow "Mandali" member Shiv Thakare suddenly interrupted him. Stan was astonished when Shiv surprised him by exclaiming, "Big fan, Sir, big fan!" Stan stood up and gave Shiv a close hug while still looking genuinely shocked. The two competitors then continued to talk to each other for a short time.
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, another Bigg Boss competitor, too appeared delighted to see Stan win. She made an appearance in front of the media to express her happiness with the outcome as she had picked either MC Stan or Shiv Thakare to win. She responded, "Of course jab mein nikli thi tabhi mein boli thi ki ek side mein Shiv hona chahiye aur ek side mein Stan, real logon ko jeetna chahiye...haqq se mandali jeet gaye!" (When I was out, then only I wanted Shiv on one side and MC Stan on the other side. The real people should win). She posted Instagram Stories congratulating MC Stan. She said, “So so happy for you at MC Stan #WinnerBiggBoss16. Congratulations @shivthakare on being the runner-up. #haqsemandali.”
Earlier, MC Stan had remarked in a press release celebrating his win on the reality show, “I have my ardent fans to thank for this incredible and unbelievable victory. When I entered the house, I felt like a misfit because I didn’t know how the game worked and everyone else seemed to know what they were doing."
