Actor Vijay’s upcoming Bigil is the next big thing in Kollywood. The film, directed by Atlee, is also getting a simultaneous release in Telugu and will release in the record number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film will release on October 25.
One of the rampant problems in Kollywood is piracy. With hours of release, every Tamil film finds its place in the pirated sites. Likewise, Bigil also has the highest possibility of landing up in a pirated website within a few hours. But, producer Archana Kalpathi has different plans.
Today, there was a Q and A session with Archana Kalpathi on Twitter. One of the fans asked what they have done to curb piracy. She said that they have sought court’s help and they have issued an order to not upload the film in any website.
Further, they have employed a team to remove the links in which the film gets uploaded. Archana Kalpathi also encouraged Vijay’s fans and asked them to watch the film in theatres and not encourage piracy.
