Bigil is Vijay’s latest release that I setting the ticket windows on fire. Recently, trade analysts reported that Bigil has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu alone in one week. The film’s advance booking for the coming weekend is at an all time high.
Meanwhile, reports are rife that the matinee shows in Devi Paradise, a popular theatre in Chennai got cancelled due to less crow for Bigil. According to the theatre rules, the screening of a film will happen if there are a minimum of 30 or more people.
On October 31, which happens to be a weekday, the audience turnout was less than 30. So, they cancelled the show in Devi Paradise. Those who had bought the tickets for Bigil were sent to another screen called Devi to catch the film. The theatre owners also made a statement regarding this.
They said there will be evening shows of Bigil in Devi and Devi Paradise. According to their statement, there will be changes in the night show for Bigil. Reportedly, this is a common occurrence and the theatre owners are surprised to see this news going viral on social media.
