Bigil receives flak from a few section of audience
Director Atlew Kumar announced that his movie Bigil is dedicated to women but in the other side, a section of people are finding fault with the women empowerment angle in the movie.
Ilayathalapthy Vijay's new film Bigil had hit the theatres the other day. Directed by Atlee, this film opened big all over Tamil Nadu and is setting new records in the collections. The film deals with the story of a football coach who paves a path of success for his women soccer team.
The second half of the film is highly emotional and deals with the women empowerment. While many viewers are happy that Vijay came up with such film, there is a bunch of people who are finding faults in it. They are sarcastically claiming that women need guidance from a man to showcase women empowerment.
They further added that football in the film is nothing more than rainbow kicks. People also claimed that how can movie talk about women empowerment while making fun of a fat girl's role in it. On the other side, the fans are arguing not to pick faults on purpose and instead, enjoy the film's core theme.
