The availability of dubbed versions plays a crucial role in the recent success of various South Indian pan-Indian films. However, in an unusual move that defies convention, the Telugu film 'Bimbisara,' produced by NTR Arts, will go the subtitling path to international markets.
Following the huge success of RRR, KGF2, and Pushpa, the lavishly-produced fantasy action drama Bimbisara is gearing up for a wide release on August 5, 2022. UFO Moviez, which recently released the critically acclaimed '777 Charlie' and 'Rocketry,' will distribute the Telugu film in North India with English subtitles.
According to a spokesperson for UFO Moviez, during the Coronavirus-triggered epidemic, when people were confined to their homes for months on end, they consumed content from all across India and the world.
"As a consequence, language is no longer an impediment, and they are more willing to consume content with subtitles. OTT has altered viewing patterns, and we are convinced that a good film in whatever language will draw audiences to the theatre, "He insists, guaranteeing that Bimbisara, which provides a larger-than-life, big-screen experience, would not disappoint.
'Bimbisara,' a film starring Jr. NTR's brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as the Emperor of Magadh in the 5th century BC, also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, and Warina Hussain. The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's home banner NTR Arts, which was able to pull together this big production despite fierce competition from other directors.
