Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya tests positive for Coronavirus

After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan contracted Coronavirus many were relieved to hear that the rest of the Bachchan family is still safe. However, according to a report by DNA actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have now also tested positive for the novel Covid-19 virus. Jaya Bachchan and her daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda have still tested negative.

Rajesh Tope who is Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare in Maharashtra confirmed the report when he tweeted writing, "Smt. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery." Last night Amitabh Bachchan took to his own Twitter handle to announce the news. He wrote, "This evening I have been tested CoviD positive and have been shifted to hospital .. family and staff have undergone tests .. results awaited .. hospital shall inform authorities .. all those that have come in close proximity to me in the last 10 days please get yourself tested .." Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted writing, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you." Since then BMC has declared all three of Amitabh Bachchan's houses as containment zones and sent various teams to sanitize the building. Bollywood celebrities and politicians alike have wished the Bachchan family a speedy recovery.
