'Bollywood is about playing within the film families', says Prachi Desai as why she didn't work much in films

Prachi Desai, who made her debut in Bollywood after making her mark in the television industry, has had a brief career in Bollywood. She worked in good films, however, her career hasn't been consistent. Citing the reason for her inconsistent career in Bollywood, Prachi told a leading website, “I think everybody was playing the wait-and-watch game back then because the television artists were not considered so seriously for movies at that time. Secondly, we have all seen how much Bollywood is about playing within the film families so that’s another reason."

Desai has been prepping up for her upcoming venture with Manoj Bajpayee called Silence Can You Hear It. It also stars Sahil Vaid, Vaquar, Barkha Singh, Shirish Sharma, Sohaila Kapoor, Amit Thakkar and Garima Yagnik. Adding further, Prachi said, "Also, I have always been a private person and somebody who never dabbled in any clans which sometimes help. So, as a teenager, I was just all by myself. I didn’t understand the business then. To add to that, I was getting repetitive offers.
