Boney Kapoor clarifies on film promotions; Indirectly confirms no first look release for Ajith's Valmai

With the corona pandemic, the whole country is in the lockdown. The public and the country is painting social distance measure to avoid the spread of the virus. Needless to say, many of the industries will have the impact of the Corona Crisis. The film industry is one of them. Amidst all these, today marks the birthday of Tamil Star 'Thala Ajith'. Boney Kapoor has planned to promote his new movie in Tamil. The producer is pooling funds for Ajith's 'Valimai'. A few days ago, there were speculations regarding the first look of the film. To clarify this, Boney Kapoor took to Twitter and revealed an update.
 
Boney Kapoor clarified that the team will not indulge in any promotional activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. His statement said "As the entire world fights Covid-19, Bayview Projects along with the concerned artists and technicians of our films have mutually decided that we shall not do any PR activity or promote any film of ours till we overcome this critical time. Till then let us all together fight this battle." Not to mention, this has hugely disappointed the fans but they respected the decision which was made under such circumstances.
 
Valimai is an action thriller directed by H Vinoth. The film went on floors in December 2019 and major portions were shot at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who made a grand debut in Tamil alongside Rajinikanth in 'Kaala', will be playing the female lead in the film.
