Box Office Collections: Avatar; The Way Of Water Outperformed Brahmastra At The Box Office During The Weekend; Drishyam 2 Is Expected To Surpass The Rs. 225 Crore Mark

As days pass, the movies Avatar: the way of water and Drishyam 2 are making much development. Over the course of fewer than 100 days, from September 9 to December 16, a lot has changed. Before Brahmastra, which debuted on September 9th, there had been a drought of successful films at the box office. The movie had a strong opening weekend gross of Rs 122 crores. It had an amazing start of Rs 37 crores and a lifetime gross of Rs 260 crores. The way Avatar: The Way of Water is now performing at the box office, it might very well be aiming for this type of lifetime in the long term.

When it was able to raise Rs 41 crores on its first day, it had a larger first day by a little margin of about 10%. After that, it had a great Saturday as well. Yesterday, Sunday is the best of the bunch thanks to a whopping Rs 46 crores in revenue. Of course, a single day of 50 crores would have been incredible, but that requires a film to be in the same league as KGF: Chapter 2 [Hindi], which accomplished this record with ease. The success of the Hollywood sci-fi movie is still astounding, as the total has reached 128 crores, which is simply incredible.

Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 is on its own adventure, with earnings surpassing Rs 2 crores yet again. The movie made Rs 2.56 crores on Sunday, which is remarkable given that it is in its fifth week and that Avatar: The Way of Water, which is performing quite well, is a significant competitor. However, the amount of money the Ajay Devgn-starring film managed to raise is nothing short of amazing. The overall total has now reached Rs 221.35 crores due to the fact that more shows are still selling out.
