Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s remained good friends even after their divorce

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s reunion at the SAG awards caused an internet meltdown. While both have laughed off the possibility of rekindling their romance, fans remain hopeful. Still, reunion or not, both the actors maintained a steady relationship with the public and spoke warmly of each other.

After their divorce in 2005, Pitt got married to Angelina Jolie. The two were together for a little over a decade before breaking off in 2016.

Aniston, meanwhile, tied the knot with Justin Theroux in 2015. Their marriage lasted a few years and the couple separated in 2017.

But recently, not only did Pitt make it to Aniston’s 50th birthday party in 2019 but also attended one of her Christmas parties last December.

After the Christmas party, an insider revealed that Pitt and Aniston’s friendship is stronger now. “They’re obviously on friendly terms, and the more time that passes, the closer they seem to be getting,” the insider dished. “It’s part of his new sobriety, and Jen has obviously forgiven him. This show of solidarity, at a small gathering like this, is very special. It’s a very grown-up gesture on Jen’s part.”

Fans have already seen Aniston and Pitt reunite in 2020. This became possible since both got nominated for several awards for their parts in The Morning Show and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. At the SAG awards, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt shared a special moment backstage as they congratulated each other on their wins.

A source commented on it saying. “It all happened so fast, but at the same time, it felt like it was in slow motion. Brad and Jen happened to pass each other in the hall, right here in front of me. Everyone was a flutter, giddy with excitement.”
