Every now and then, Income Tax officials are conducting raids at several production houses in Tollywood. According to the latest reports, there was an IT raid at Geetha Arts office in Jubilee Hills. However, sources say that this was a normal procedure that the IT officials conduct.
The IT raid has raised many questions about the timing as it is the end of the fiscal year. Geetha Arts and its sister concern GA2 had two big releases last year in the form of Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala.
Both the films were big hits and went on to rake in the moolah at the box office. Now, Geetha Arts is upbeat about producing Allu Arjun’s big-budget film with Trivikram Srinivas in association with Haarika & Hassine Creations.
Seeing the IT raid in Geetha Arts office, several production houses are taking precautionary measures and are preparing themselves for the worst situation.
