Shakuntala Devi is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical film. Since the time the announcement has come, the movie lovers are waiting for the movie. The makers have now confirmed an interesting update regarding the movie. After Gulabo Sitabo, this film is also going to skip the theatrical release. Shakuntala Devi is directed and written by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks India and Vikram Malhotra under his banner Abundantia Entertainment. The movie is the biopic of a mathematician whose name goes by the title of the movie. Vidya Balan plays the title role in the movie.

Vidya Balan confirmed on Twitter and shared her excitement. "Delighted to announce that you will get to see #ShakuntalaDevi very soon on @PrimeVideoIN with all your loved ones. Thrilled that we will be able to entertain you in these unprecedented times. #WorldPremiereOnPrime #ShakuntalaDeviOnPrime" she wrote.
