BTS Single Black Swan: K Pop band brings together contemporary dance and music in the first Map of the Soul 7 single.

BTS has released their first song titled Black Swan. The music video is the first official song from their new album Map of the Soul 7. The K-Pop band also recently released the MotS 7 trailer titled Interlude: Shadow. The new BTS song released is completely different from the usual music videos by the band and is a part of their inspirational "Connect BTS" concept. The new song features none of the BTS members. The South Korean boys have approached MN Dance Company to help with the making of their music video.

The video starts with dancer Martha Graham's quote, "a dancer dies twice — once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." The dance group works together to form a swan-like shape before their breathtaking performance. The performance takes place in an abandoned plaza. The song starts with the singers asking the audience to "Do you thing now," before the singer questions what the thing is. As the song goes on, it is prevalent that the lyrics have inspired from the quote. The video showcases the performer's struggle, his slow death before he breaks up away from the darkness and is a beautiful performance.

The new song released just a few days before Grammys 2020 and BTS' iHeartRadio performance. RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope and Suga are to perform at the event live and fans got excited that they would present their first live performance on Black Swan at the event.
