Singer and star Camila Cabello recently apologized for her past comments on social media that she made when she was a teenager. The singer took to Twitter and wrote that she is extremely sorry for the language that she once used. She also said that now since she has grown up she knows not to do that anymore.
She wrote, "When I was younger, I used language that I’m deeply ashamed of and will regret forever,” Cabello shared in a lengthy social media post. “I was uneducated and ignorant and once I became aware of the history and the weight and the true meaning behind this horrible and hurtful language, I was deeply embarrassed I ever used it."
This came after fans posted screenshots of an old Tumblr account that Camilla used to have. The post was offensive and racist.
The singer also said that while she can't change the past she feels extremely apologetic for it and knows what not to do anymore.
