Actress Catherine Tresa got shot to fame in the Telugu film industry with movies like Iddarammayilatho, Rudhramadevi, Sarrainodu, and Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Catherine ventured into films with the 2010 Kannada film Shankar IPS. She entered into Tollywood with the 2013 film Chammak Challo, which had Varun Sandesh as the lead.
Immediately, Catherine made another film in Telugu during the same year, which is Iddammayilatho. That brought her popularity among the Telugu audiences. Catherine was last seen in an item song in the film Jaya Janaki Nayaka. After that, she got occupied with various Tamil projects and thus, couldn't sign any Telugu film.
After a long gap, Catherine is coming again to Tollywood with the upcoming film World Famous Lover. This film stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. Catherine is one of the four heroines of the film. Other heroines are Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Izabelle Leite. Catherine is hoping to start 2020 on a positive note with this movie, which is releasing on February 14.
Meanwhile, Catherine is also in consideration for Nandamuri Balakrishna's next film, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. Apart from that, there are a couple of other interesting projects in the pipeline. Overall, Catherine is a bit buy throughout this year and she is hoping to score success with all of them.
