The lockdown has hit the film industry very hard. All the shoots got canceled and theaters got shut. Poor cine workers and daily wage workers have lost their income source for the last three months. The Telugu film industry big wigs have come forward in support of those poor and daily wage workers. They have set up a fundraising initiative called Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) fund, under the guidance of
Megastar Chiranjeevi. All the major heroes have supported this cause. Now, Chiranjeevi stated that they are distributing the daily essentials once again, as a part of the second phase of CCC. He released a video to announce the same.
In the video, Chiru said, "The time has come to lend supporting hand for the Telugu film laborers once again. Shoots haven't got started yet. Lockdown is still going on. Thus, we at CCC have decided to help our cine workers yet again. Last time, we have distributed daily essentials at the doorsteps, due to the full-lockdown. This time, we have given the goods to your respective associations. You can reach out to them, to get the necessary supplies. I would also like to inform the association presidents that we have given goods as per the names mentioned in your list. Make sure that no one says that they didn't get the essentials."
"We haven't compromised in terms of quality as well. I've tested them personally and even tasted some of them as well. Please use them accordingly. You will get to know about the shooting works very soon. I hope we all get back to work as soon as possible. But remember one thing. Work is important but life is more important than that. Please take all measures and stay safe. Take care of children and elderly people. Things will get better soon. I assure you that CCC will always be there to support you," he added.
