Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently anticipating the release of his upcoming movie, Waltair Veerayya. The film will be released in theatres on January 12 as a Sankranti treat for fans. The megastar is attending interviews and marketing the film by divulging key details about the film, multistarrer, bond with Pawan Kalyana, and more. The actor recently discussed his brother Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu's political views in an interview.
When asked about his brother Pawan Kalyan's political group and the criticism, Chiranjeevi stated that everyone reacts to circumstances in their own way. “You cannot expect all the five fingers of a palm to be equal. They are different, but they remain together. One finger cannot claim it is superior to others,” he remarked.
Besides being an actor, Pawan Kalyan is a politician. He founded the Jana Sena political party in Andhra Pradesh. The party includes Naga Babu as a member. Chiranjeevi also started the Praja Rajyam Party and stood for office in Andhra Pradesh in 2009. In 2011, the party gained power and was subsequently united with the Indian National Congress. On October 27, 2012, Chiranjeevi was appointed Minister of State with an autonomous charge for the Ministry of Tourism. This position was held until May 15, 2014.
In an interview, Chiranjeevi discussed becoming a filmmaker when he was busy promoting the movie. “I am in plan to be associated with films in all the available ways. If I am confident in a script and if I believe that I can deal or handle the film, I will direct the film” shared the Megastar.
Waltair Veeraya will be out by Chiranjeevi on January 13 for Sankranthi. It is getting ready for a massive release. The film's creators are doing all in their power to boost the publicity of the project and anticipation for its release. The screenplay and dialogue for the film were written by filmmaker Bobby himself. It is billed as a mass-action entertainer loaded with all the commercial components. GK Mohan is co-producing the film. The movie is receiving financial support from Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. It is done under the auspices of Mythri Movie Makers.
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will have a significant role in the movie. Shruti Haasan will star alongside Chiranjeevi as the leading lady.
