Chiranjeevi stands with Vijay Deverakonda and condemns the spread of fake news on celebrities

Yesterday, Vijay Deverakonda posted a video and lashed out on a few websites which are spreading fake news to malign the image of actors. Vijay posted this video in response to a particular website that wrote fake news on him. The website stated that when the other heroes are donating for COVID-19 relief, Vijay is not donating despite being a huge star. Vijay's video is getting solidarity from various netizens and also the industry celebrities. This morning, Megastar Chiranjeevi also stood by the words of Vijay. He asked the actor to not let anything deter his spirit to do good. He also requested journalists to not spread any fake news.
 
Chiranjeevi's tweet read, 'డియర్ విజయ్ @TheDeverakonda. మీ ఆవేదన నేను అర్ధం చేసుకోగలను.బాధ్యతలేని రాతల వల్ల,మీలా నేను నా కుటుంబం బాధపడిన సందర్భాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి. (Dear Vijay Deverakonda, I can understand your concern. Even I and my family have suffered in the past due to these irresponsible writings.) We stand by you. Pl don't let anything deter ur spirit to do good. Humbly request Journo friends not to peddle individual views as news.#KillFakeNews.'
 
Many other stars like Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravi Teja, Raashi Khanna, Koratala Siva, Vamshi Paidipally, Anil Ravipudi, and Rana Daggubati have also supported Vijay's statements.
 
Along with the video, Vijay wrote, 'When someone who is supposed to be the guardian of truth lies to you or betrays your trust, intentionally -the society is in danger. This Video Is my responsibility to my people. Meanwhile, You are welcome to continue trying to end my career, destroy my image, write nonsense about me. Cuz, IDGAF Over and out. #KillFakeNews #SpreadPositivity.'
