Chiyaan Vikram completes the shooting of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan

Chiyaan Vikram recently wrapped up the shooting of director Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan in Chennai. He is on the verge of completing director Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra. Meanwhile, Vikram has been shooting for director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan for the past few weeks. The Ponniyin Selvan team headed by Mani Ratnam shot some important sequences in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Prakash Raj and Babu Antony were part of the ongoing schedule. A few days ago, we had reported that Jayam Ravi had wrapped up the film's shooting. He took to Twitter to share a series of tweets thanking director Mani Ratnam.

Following Chiyaan Vikram, Chiyaan Vikram has now wrapped up the shooting of Ponniyin Selvan. His manager Yuvaraj confirmed the same in a tweet. He also revealed that Vikram is playing the role of Aditya Karikalan in the film. Taking to Twitter, Yuvaraj wrote, "It's wrap for #AdithyaKarikalan. #ChiyaanVikram sir has completed shooting for his portions in #PonniyinSelvan (both first and second part). @sooriaruna @Kalaiazhagan15 (sic)." The screenplay of Ponniyin Selvan is written by Mani Ratnam, Elango Kumaravel and B Jeyamohan.
