The first look poster for
Vikram’s most awaited film ‘Cobra’ is finally out. The poster is even more intriguing than anticipated. The poster features Chiyaan Vikram in seven different looks. Prior to this release, it was being rumored that Vikram was all set to enact 20 different roles in a single film. Cobra’s poster is now attracting more buzz in the south film fraternity because the fans can’t stop wondering if this is the film that will portray the lead actor in 20 looks.
The looks on the poster depict that Vikram will be playing characters from various professional backgrounds, ranging from a professor to a politician. The different characters tie back to a mastermind, who ties back all the characters together. Vikram is sought out for picking films with multiple personality portrayals, and this film is no different from his regular choices, such as Anniyan and Iru Mugan. Cobra, on the other hand, stands out as a challenge, as was ‘Dasavathaaram’ for Kamal Haasan.
The director of the film, Ajay Gnanamuthu released the poster yesterday on his Twitter account. He expressed his pride to have directed this masterpiece. Ever since the news broke out regarding this project, Vikram’s fanbase hasn’t kept calm. Lalith Kumar produced the film under the banner ‘Seven Screen Studios’, in collaboration with ‘Viacom 18 Studios’.
Music Composer/Maestro A R Rahman scores music for the film. Siva Kumar Vijayan is the cinematographer for the film. Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, KS Ravikumar, and Anand Raj also feature in prominent roles. The film is set for a theatrical release in May 2020.
