Chiyaan Vikram's "Cobra" will screen at the Indian Film Festival in Russia, which takes place on December 15, the movie will be dubbed in Russian.
Chiyaan Vikram's most recent film was the Ajay Gnanamuthu-helmed psychological action thriller "Cobra." The eagerly anticipated movie didn't do as well as anticipated and ended up failing at the box office. The Russian version of "Cobra," starring Chiyaan Vikram, will soon be released. The majority of "Cobra" was filmed in Russia, which caused a production delay because of the restrictions on filming. However, the filmmakers were able to capture the omitted scenes, and the movie was then shown in theatres last August. As "Cobra" has been chosen to be presented at the Indian Film Festival, which takes place on December 15 in Moscow, Russia, the movie will be dubbed in Russian.
Following the screening, the Russian version of "Cobra" will also make its way to Russian theatres. And the movie is expected to increase its box office receipts. "Cobra," had a budget of approximately Rs 100 crores. But it failed to recoup more than half of that sum at the box office. Thus it is a commercial failure. The audio, digital, and satellite rights to the movie have allowed the creators to recoup their costs.
Srinidhi Shetty played the female lead in Ajay Gnanamuthu's "Cobra." The film also stars Chiyaan Vikram in a dual role. Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, and KS Ravikumar play major roles. Anandraj, Miya George, Mirnalini Ravi, and Meenakshi Govindarajan appear in supporting roles. The songs that AR Rahman composed for the movie turned out to be its best feature.
