Chris Evans is most famously recognized for his role as Captain America. Evans has also starred in movies such as Fantastic Four, Sunshine, Before We Go, Gifted, etc. Yet none of his roles has brought him as much fun and joy as that in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is an adaptation of a graphic novel. It is a story about Scott starred by Michael Cera who falls in love with Ramona Flowers played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead and has to engage in a battle with her seven evil exes to be with her. Evans plays one of these exes named Lucas Lee who is an actor and a professional skateboarder. Despite the brief role, Evans recalls that it was his most enjoyable at that moment. In an interview with GQ, he claimed that he loved working alongside Cera. He said:" I like that kid.”
Furthermore, in an interview with Collider, Evans shared his admiration of working with the director Edgar Wright. He mentioned that due to his short role he was on the set for only a period of three weeks. When he had to leave the set he was rather sad. The movie took some time to soar and when first released didn't get much recognition.
