Australian actor Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has shared some new details about his upcoming Netflix film. The actor is gearing up to play the iconic WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan in the biopic. Hemsworth said that the film is currently in its writing stage as of now.

 
Todd Phillips is set to direct the film for Netflix soon. Phillips recently directed Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix. Hemsworth has revealed that in his first film with Todd Phillips the creative team will be taking on a side never seen before.
 
In a recent interview with ScreenRant Hemsworth revealed, "I know it's being written now and worked on. I know very little about that. It's sort of in the process now."
 
"I'm just fascinated by that world, and I think they're pretty keen to show a side of the world that people haven't seen before. I'm as intrigued as you are," he added.
 
Scott Silver and John Pollono are working on Netflix's upcoming WWE biopic film. The film will allow the life and legendary career of wrestler Hulk Hogan. Hogan rose to fame from the Florida Wrestling Circuit and later became an international face of wrestling by the 1980s. The film is also expected to feature Andre The Giant.
 
Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth just dropped his film Extraction on Netflix. The film is garnering much praise for its well-choreographed action set pieces. The Russo Brothers have created the film. Sam Hargrave directorial Extraction also stars Bollywood actors like Randeep Hooda and Bajpai.
