The action-packed film Extraction is hitting huge numbers on Netflix already. Starring Chris Hemsworth the film is created by the Russo Brothers. On Sunday the star of the film, Chris Hemsworth took to his Instagram to thank millions of fans across the world for the overwhelming response that Extraction has received.
In the video, Hemsworth can be seen sitting beside his private gym at home. He said, "Hey, what’s up, guys? I hope you’re doing well. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who checked out Extraction." The Thor actor thanked fans for their support for his film. He also revealed that over 90 million households have tuned in to watch his latest Netflix film. Hemsworth added that the film is on its way to becoming one of the largest ever Netflix original films. In the video, he also hinted at the film getting a prequel and a sequel soon. Hemsworth said, “You’ve made it the number one film on the planet right now, and it looks like it’s going to be Netflix’s biggest feature film of all time, which is absolutely mind-blowing.”
Sam Hargrave has directed Extraction. The film follows the story of Chris Hemsworth who plays a mercenary for hire as he goes on a mission to save an Indian drug lord's son. The film is shot across South East Asia. A majority of the film has shot in Ahmedabad and Dhaka. Previously Chris Hemsworth also thanked Indian fans before the film's release. He said that he is sorry for not visiting India before the film's release as planned.
