In an interview with TODAY Parents, she revealed that for any situation she gets mom-shamed on social media. If she is wearing a dress with cleavage, the conservative individuals criticise. If she is making her children eat non-vegetarian items such as ribs or sausages, the vegans criticise her. Her daughter, Luna who is 3 and her son, Miles who is 21 months old are often a part of her posts. Based on these images that the public see; they make a judgement and start criticising Chrissy's parenting skills.
She commented saying. "If they get a glimpse of the car seat there is a lot of buckle talk. Maybe for one half of a second, the strap slipped down." The audience has not spared even her IVF procedure, her breastfeeding along with the way she dresses up herself and her children.
Chrissy mentioned that it takes a toll on her. She said, "It's pretty much everything. The comments affect me. Of course. Not only do we have our own personal judgement and vendetta against ourselves. But we also have to read and hear these voices online all the time. It's hard to weed out."
She mentioned that she is trying to deal with these situations by ignoring them and not paying much attention. She said she has two kids to look after and while the comments affect her, it is necessary her mental health remains positive. Hence, she aims to not listen to the criticism she receives.
