Cinematographer Vinay Shanmukh arrested for sexual assault allegation

Another sexually assaulted came into limelight in Madhapur with the complaint lodged by a 24-year-old woman. The woman accused that Vinay Shanmukh, who works as a cinematographer for dance videos on YouTube had sexually assaulted her after promising her a good career in films.
As per the FIR filed, Vijay took her to a hotel room in Madhapur and raped her on January 11. N Shyam Prasad Rao, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madhapur said that he was arrested and remanded in judicial custody on Wednesday.
Vijay Shanmuk hit the limelight with short films and cover songs starring Shanmukh Jaswanth and Deepthi Sunaina. His recent hit was 'Rowdy Baby' cover song which got a good response from the netizens.
