You probably would have already heard of this film. The film has an uncanny resemblance to the situations happening today. A virus outbreak in China that has led to the shut down of almost everything just like today. The movie shows a similar pandemic outbreak that took place years before the Coronavirus outbreak today.
V Wars:
Even though the show symptoms are way different from what Coronavirus shows, V Wars is a show on Netflix that shows the outbreak of a virus that makes people into a different kind of species. To avoid it from spreading people quarantine themselves to cure the virus of their body. The show stars Ian Somerhalder in the lead role.
12 Monkeys:
Another movie about pandemic and outbreak of a disease which needs to be stopped is what 12 Monkeys is all about. This 1995 movie is available on Netflix.
93 Days:
This is the only movie which is about the real story. 93 days is about the outbreak of Ebola virus which spread a few years ago and had created a similar panic worldwide like present Covid-19. Ebola virus is also the virus that is relatable to the current times. The movie stars Danny Glover in the lead role.
Pontypool:
This movie is not exactly similar to the Coronavirus but it shows the outbreak of a contagious virus which turns people into zombies. This horror thriller movie is an exciting watch. It stars Stephan Mchattie in the lead role. You can watch Pontypool on Amazon Prime Video.
